This Is The Most Relaxing Song To Listen According To Science

Relaxing To Music

Music is used for a number of different purposes including entertainment, dancing and relaxing. You may have your own special list of songs you think is the best for different purposes. But when it comes to the most relaxing tune to listen to, scientists believe they have found the number #1 tune.

British band and sound therapists Marconi Union together with scientists compiled a song named Weightless that is claimed the most relaxing sound to humans. To carry out their research, scientists played the tune to 40 women and found it to be more effective at helping them relax than songs by Enya, Mozart and Coldplay.

According to the website, “Weightless works by using specific rhythms, tones, frequencies and intervals to relax the listener. A continuous rhythm of 60 BPM causes the brainwaves and heart rate to synchronize with the rhythm: a process known as ‘entrainment’. Low underlying bass tones relax the listener and a low whooshing sound with a trance-like quality takes the listener into an even deeper state of calm”.

Now you can listen to the most relaxing tune below.
